|  | | Framus factory in Bubenreuth/Germany in the 1950s | | | | “Framus – known throughout the world“, that’s how the musical instrument company from Bubenreuth/Germany advertised in the 1950s. German and international stars, such as Peter Kraus, Billy Lorento and Bill Wyman, helped Framus to become a company known world-wide. At the end of the 1970s Framus was forced to declare bankruptcy, and the company disappeared for more than 16 years until the brand was revived in 1995 in Markneukirchen/Germany.
