Unfortunately, the beautiful, one-of-a-kind wood species is on the brink of extinction, as it has been ruthlessly overexploited for centuries. In order to keep it from being lost forever, Brazilian Rosewood has been put on the endangered species list in 1992. The only way to obtain genuine Brazilian Rosewood is using old stock with accompanying CITES documents. | | | Wolfgang Schmid is not only known as a bass player, band leader and part-time singer, but also as a producer, composer and musical director who has been involved in more than 400 albums by now. Thanks to his accomplished, often highly energetic playing style and his stylistic versatility, Wolfgang became a role model of many bass players in the funk and fusion scene. After being a part of the first Warwick Bass Camp as an instructor, Wolfgang Schmid chose to endorse Warwick amps. As of now, he uses a WA 600 head and a WCA 410 bass cabinet on stage.
