He was 56. King, who also mixed Eminem’s award-winning song “Lose Yourself” for the 8 Mile soundtrack, also collaborated with Aretha Franklin, Patti Smith, George Clinton, Eminem’s D12 crew, Sponge, Lloyd Banks, and 50 Cent.
